We're looking for an Accounting Apprentice to join our Finance team and contribute to the day-to-day financial operations of Filigran. In this role, you’ll support our senior accountants in maintaining accurate financial records, improving reporting processes, and helping to ensure smooth and compliant operations. It’s a hands-on opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-moving, international tech company.
As an apprentice, you’ll take part in various essential tasks, including:
Uploading supplier invoices into our accounting software to ensure accurate and timely documentation of transactions.
Processing and verifying supplier invoices: validating details, assigning analytical codes, and checking payment status.
Creating and maintaining supplier records in the accounting system (general information, account coding, VAT rules, analytical assignments).
Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between internal records and bank statements.
Supporting financial audits and internal reporting by ensuring data completeness and traceability.
Participating in specific finance projects (e.g., identifying and tagging company assets for better fixed-asset management).
Assisting in the implementation of automation tools or accounting process improvements.
Collaborating cross-functionally with teams like HR and Marketing to align finance workflows with operational needs.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive finance function:
You’ll report directly to the Senior Accountant, who will guide and mentor you throughout your apprenticeship.
You’ll work closely with teams across the company—including HR, Operations, and Marketing—to ensure accurate financial tracking and interdepartmental alignment.
You’ll be exposed to modern finance tools and an international, tech-driven environment.
Education: Currently pursuing or having completed a Bac +2 (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, or business.
Experience: Some prior exposure to accounting through coursework, internships, or work-study programs.
Languages: Comfortable communicating in English in both written and spoken form.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, good organization, and sound analytical thinking.
Mindset: Curious, dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable taking initiative within a structured framework.
Tools: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Pennylane) and general office tools (Excel).
