FeetMe is looking for a Chief Medical Officer to lead and expand the Marketing and clinical activities for the company.

The Chief Medical Officer drives FeetMe clinical development activities. Your missions will be:

Strategic activities
• Identifies, sizes and prioritizes new clinical applications;
• As a member of the executive committee the CMO contributes to development of overall worldwide business and market access strategy;
• Leads reimbursement activities;
• Designs, develops and implements clinical strategy and clinical development plan;
• Initiates clinical and academic partnerships strategies to support the organization’s products, services or market sector;
• Analyses strengths and opportunities relative to medical applications of the technology;
• Is the voice of the patient in the organisation to maintain ethical development;
• Keeps abreast of trends in health care delivery, diagnosis and treatment of human disease, especially as these relate to mobility disorders.

Operational activities
• Ensures appropriate input to the product teams for determining the potential clinical utility of any product under development by FeetMe;
• Ensures support to the Sales and Marketing teams;
• Sets up and execute clinical plan in France and Internationally and manages operational clinical team;
• Collects and organizes clinical evidence around the technology developed;
• Builds effective connections, interactions and collaborations with clinical investigators and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) at a peer-to-peer level, worldwide;
• Collects, analyses and prioritizes feedback from different customers;
• Formulates and presents clinical value to potential customers;
• Influences a network of Medical Key Opinion Leaders and organizes multiple medical board to drive FeetMe’s clinical strategy and communication;
• Participates in marketing strategies and media (i.e. Internet, press, television, radio) to launch and position products and services in a new sector.

Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance;
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.


Profil recherché

We are looking for a talented profile with the following requirements:
• Previous experience in medical device or pharma industry. Experience in neurodegenerative diseases would be a plus.
• Actively licensed physician with a Medical Degree (M.D., D.O. or equivalent) and with at least 8-10 years of experience in clinical medicine, including significant capability in clinical investigation. Seven or more years’ experience in the Medical device/bio-pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred. Expertise in Neurology and/or Physical rehabilitation is a plus.
• Prefer demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications and a regional or national reputation in the industry. Ability to qualify for at least Assistant professorship at an academic medical school, and attending privileges at an academic teaching hospital highly desired.
• Global exposure and understanding of medical/clinical practice and medical industry practices.
• Able to build and defend a medico-economic demonstration
• Must have clinical knowledge obtained through medical education and medical practice. Needs significant knowledge of clinical trial design, statistics, and data analysis. Should have an understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and FDA requirements for clinical investigation.
• Superior interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence Key Opinion Leaders, while exercising sensitivity to the audience.
• Demonstrates a high level of ethical behaviour in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and clinical studies management tools.
Key Responsibilities
• As a member of the executive committee, contributes to development of overall worldwide business strategy.
• Works with the CEO to determine strategy for new product development, prioritization of projects and resource management for the business.
• Reviews and approves proposals for IIS (Investigator-Initiated Studies).
• Ensures appropriate input to the product teams for determining the potential clinical utility of any product under development by the Unit.
• Works in close association with the CTO with the exploration of potential new technologies and OTHC (Outside the Home Court) products/services.
• Provides senior-level clinical expertise in submissions and communication with FDA, EMA and other Regulatory authorities around the world.
• Builds effective connections, interactions and collaborations with clinical investigators and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) at a peer-to-peer level, worldwide.
• Represents the company to professional societies and at medical and scientific meetings and seminars.
• Guides preparation of clinical activity reports and presents to management.
