The team
At Euronext, Investor Relations are part of the Communication and Investor Relations department, integrated within Euronext's CFO Office.
In liaison with Euronext senior management, the Investor Relations team is the primary point of contact for investors and analysts and manages interactions with the financial community to communicate on all aspects of Euronext's strategy, corporate developments and financial performance.
Description
The apprentice will be fully integrated in the IR department, closely supporting the team and will primarily.
Assist in drafting financial communication material (financial press release, presentation and Q&A)
Monitor market perception (broker analysis, peer and industry analysis)
Assist in building quarterly consensus and challenge valuation model
Support the preparation of the Universal Registration Document
In addition the successful applicant would also have the opportunity to work on ESG and finance related matters.
The successful applicant will be uniquely positioned to gain a deep understanding of capital markets and the operations of a market infrastructure operator, and the management of a listed multinational firm and the financial communication processes.
Support the drafting of financial communication material (press release, Q&A, presentation, registration document)
Monitor peers and market developments
Monitor sell-side perception of Euronext
Identify markets expectations ahead of quarterly publications
Monitor Euronext shareholders evolution
Occasionally, work in collaboration with Communication and / or Finance team on ad-hoc project
Profile :
Student in business school specializing in Finance / Economics (preferred).
Successful first experience in investor relations, finance (Asset management, Front-office, CFO office), infrastructure or corporate communication
Good understanding of Corporate finance, Communication and Strategy topics
High level of integrity, professionally composed
Fluent in French and in English (mandatory English is the corporate language).
Desired skills
Good knowledge / interest in the financial industry.
Knowledge of corporate finance
Strong writing, communication, adaptability and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills.
Inquisitive with ability to develop relationships quickly.
12 or 24-months apprenticeship
