Main duties

Identify and investigate testing abnormalities and security breaches, including score validity and secure material violations. Time may also be dedicated to work on special projects as assigned by your manager or the Office of Testing Integrity.
Conduct investigations regarding score validity including impersonation, copying, inappropriate communication, and unusual similarities.

As a Test Security analyst your missions will include:

  • Support the Test Security team in all activities as assigned by manager or to back-up colleagues during absence, this includes:
  • Conduct virtual and possibly physical audits and/or observations to ensure the integrity of the tests, test material receipt, security, storage, access, and compliance with test administration policies and procedures.
  • To overlook and assure that online incidents for all regions and audit findings are properly logged.
  • Conduct reviews of online sessions and act as the subject matter expert for online tests.
  • Assure that incidents for all regions and audit findings are properly logged in the incident log file and on sales force.
  • Support on the forensic and statistical analysis to analyze and identify irregularities and discrepancies.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommended actions.
  • Provide training to employees and testing center staff if necessary.
  • Act as liaison between ETS and test takers and/or their representatives; communicate investigative findings and assist with remediation.
  • Act as liaison with third part vendors to assure service levels are met.
  • Log incidents and score verification requests and document investigative actions, prepare documentary files by determining information relevant to each case, and recommend course of action based on evaluation of evidence.

Profil recherché

Preferred experience / Education / Job requirements

Skills

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French is a strong asset
  • Self-motivated, flexible, takes responsibility and be able to work in a dynamic team as well as independently
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with great attention to detail
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills required
  • Good data analysis skills in Excel
  • Basic understanding of the cyber security threats related to remote testing
  • Sales force usage experience
  • International mindset
  • Willing and able to occasionally travel and in some cases on very short notice.

Languages required

  • English (both verbal & written), French is considered a strong asset

Other qualifications/requirements

  • A previous experience within an international environment is a big plus
  • An interest for the field of education
