Main duties

As an Legal Counsel your missions will include:

• Lead the call for tender (appels d’offre) with academic institutions in France,
• High quality legal support for internal clients (mainly the sales team based in France) and for the mother company ETS based in the US,
• Responsible for all legal aspects of SaaS platforms of the company,
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, amendments, memoranda of understanding and legal correspondence,
• Maintenance and updating of the contract database, monitoring of contracts,
• Preparation of legal documents in accordance with legislation (General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Privacy Policy, website compliance, etc.)
• Ad hoc legal support for other departments such as Marketing, IT and Security,
• Preparation of responses to calls for tender and other public procurement procedures,
• Administrative support for the legal department (formalities, registrations with the registry and chambers of commerce abroad where ETS Global has main establishments).

Preferred experience / Education / Job requirements

Skills

• You have a degree in law and at least 3 years’ experience, preferably in an international environment
• A previous experience in the monitoring of public tenders and contracts (mainly in France)
• Motivated, flexible and dynamic, you are willing to take on responsibilities, work in a team and also independently,
• Organized and rigorous, you have an eye for detail,
• You have a good sense of service and good interpersonal skills.

Languages required

• English & French (both verbal & written)

• A previous experience within an international environment is a big plus
