Within a rapidly growing group, in a sector of activity with an environmental mission that encourages talent, Energy Pool is recruiting a local, permanent contract for a Country Manager to ensure the development of the company in Germany.

Your objectives will be to develop activities both in scale and profitability with a team that you will recruit and manage. You will request the necessary assistance from Energy Pool support teams.

In a first phase, with the active support of the International Development team located in the Alps (France - Savoie), the Germany Country Manager will mainly and simultaneously:

• Apply the Energy Pool strategy for entering the German market.
• Develop a portfolio of prospects/customers based on Energy Pool's existing offers in Europe.
• Define new Energy Management offers adapted to the German market.
• Set-up of a local team to accelerate the development.
• Monitor regulatory developments relating to access to the demand-side flexibility market.
• Favor Energy Pool by lobbying the regulator BNetzA & TSOs in coordination with local trade associations.
• Explore local strategic partnerships to accelerate development.
• Report financially and operationally.
• Manage Energy Pool’s country company on all administrative aspects (business, operation, legal, HR, finance…) in compliance with group standards.
• Define and derive the yearly action plans, with corresponding KPIs for the whole country team.

The indispensable:

• You come from an engineering or business school with a strong appetite for technical/complex and commercial subjects,

• You have a significant financial culture,
• You have at least 10 years of experience in a management role within a fast-growing SME/ETI,
• You are bilingual in German, you have a professional levels of English and French (C1).

And ideally:
• You have experience in the energy sector and the decarbonization of processes,
• You know the major energy players as well as the stakeholders (political, regulatory, etc.).

Mobility: Travels will be frequent.
