About the role

We are currently on the lookout for a Head of People to join our London office, to take care of our team of 80 people, in an exciting period of growth as we aim to reach 200+ people by the end of 2028.

This role is responsible for building and driving the strategic people roadmap for the UK to support the growth of the organisation. You will drive the team to attract, engage and develop an environment where people form a high-performing and engaged team aligned to Ekimetrics' core values and behaviours.

As Head of People, you will partner with UK leadership and the global People function to drive transformational change within the organisation, focusing on scaling operations effectively while maintaining an exceptional employee experience across the UK entity.

As part of the UK leadership team, you will directly report to the UK General Manager and manage one Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and one People and Culture Partner.

You will also partner closely with the global HR team (1 CHRO, 3 other Heads of People, 1 Global Head of Learning & Development and 1 Global Head of Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding).

Your responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be:

Strategic Partnership & Leadership

·       As part of the UK leadership team, you define and execute the UK people strategy in partnership with senior leadership, enabling organisational growth and transformation.

·       You lead and coach a high-performing People team to deliver strategic value and build future capability.

Culture & Engagement

- You shape and embed a high-performing, inclusive culture aligned with Ekimetrics’ values and local needs.

- You champion DEIB initiatives with clear ownership, metrics, and visibility across the organisation.

Talent Acquisition

·       You oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring speed, quality, and consistency in how we hire and onboard.

·       You evolve and amplify our employer brand, making sure we attract, retain, and grow top talent who are aligned to our values.

Talent Development & Talent Management

·       You lead performance management, career development, and succession planning initiatives.

·       You collaborate with the operations team to identify skills gaps.

·       You design and deploy targeted L&D strategy aligned with business objectives and individual career development needs utilising internal, external such as the apprenticeship level.

HR Operations

·       You oversee the development of scalable HR operations, policies and processes.

·       You ensure compliance with UK employment law, immigration requirements, and regulatory standards.

·       You partner with managers on employee relations, providing strategic coaching for fair, values-led outcomes.

·       You continuously review and optimise people processes to enhance the employee experience and support a maturing organization.

About You

We are looking for someone who has existing experience in HR & recruitment, be it in a large HR team where you are ready to take on a more autonomous, independent role, or in a similar work environment and looking for new experiences.

Ideally, you have:

·       A Master’s degree or equivalent in HR management or related field (e.g CIPD)

·       Experience of at least 8 years within a generalist HR role in a fast-paced scaling organisation, ideally in professional services and/or in tech companies.

·       Solid understanding of employment law and practices, employee lifecycle processes, and HR systems.

·       Strong communication skills – ability to work alongside the senior management team as well as the wider business.

·       Strong business acumen with a commercial mindset—able to align people strategies with business objectives.

·       High emotional intelligence with the ability to actively listen, adapt to different perspectives, and connect meaningfully across all levels of the organization.

·       An ability to lead through complexity and transformation, and to drive change.

·       Strategic thinking ability with a hands-on, proactive approach—comfortable balancing long-term projects with day-to-day HR delivery.

·       Business level proficiency in English (mandatory).
