Job description

Position details
Permanent full-time contract (CDI temps plein)
Location: Primarily in Toulouse (31)
Business travels: up to 50-60% of time (Europe and middle-east)
Mission
The Deployment Engineers are in charge of preparing and performing the delivery and entry into service of EasyMile’s vehicles on customers’ sites.
Your future responsibilities
1. Perform delivery and deployment tasks, including:
Site analysis before deployment
On-site setup based on site analysis and vehicles configuration (map generation, route definition, and tuning, software configurations, fleet setup, etc)
Coordination with customers’ stakeholders
Tests & validation for final acceptance
2. Perform support tasks, both on-site and remotely, including:
Vehicle maintenance tasks: hardware/software diagnosis or testing, hardware/software updates
Vehicles setup or software configuration and tuning, to improve on-site safety or service levels
Train customers or partners personnel for vehicles operation and deployment
Testing of new releases of EasyMile software technology
3. Formalise and report feedback to the products, projects, or maintenance teams to improve products and deployment best practices
Preferred experience

This hands-on position is made for you if you are willing to travel and be working on state-of-art high tech products. It requires a proactive mindset and lots of autonomy in the organization of your activity, in order to match the team’s and customers’ expectations!
We are looking for:
- Fluent in French and English (German would be a plus)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Robotics, Mechatronics or Electronics, or equivalent experience
- Technically curious and able to learn fast on a number of technical domains, such as sensors, autonomous vehicles technologies, or other technical fields
- Able to work on-site in a variety of conditions
- Highly flexible, autonomous and able to continuously adapt to products changes, projects needs and customers constraints
- Service and client oriented, sense of initiative, objective driven
- Valid driving licence (type B)
Desirable
- Prior automotive / robotics / systems integration or hands-on work experience
- System diagnostics, testing, data collection & reporting experience
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and decentralised environment
Integration into the team will require an initial training of a few weeks in our test facilities in Cugnaux (31), and a period of mentorship with some of our most experienced deployment engineers on customers’ sites.
