In order to further develop our methods and tools for System Engineering, a position has been opened in the System & Validation team.
This position is targeting the System team methodology but is also at the cross-road of Product Management, Safety, R&D, Solution, Integration and V&V teams.

You will act as the leader for methods and tools within the System team. As such you will:

• Be the internal referent to define and maintain our System Engineering framework
• As a first step implement and deploy our ALM / requirement management tool (Polarion) both for the System team but also for all users within the EasyMile teams. You will then coordinate the specification traceability through Polarion
• Define in close collaboration with the other teams the method and process associated to System Engineering framework along all the V cycle and down to the software level
• Ensure the continuous application and evolution of the method chosen
• Establish the M&T vision and roadmap for EasyMile engineering framework including tools survey/watch and potential evaluation and deployment
• Support certification and related activities with the safety team

This is a new role at EasyMile, we’ll need your experience to build it! You don’t have to be a system engineer or technical engineer, as long as you are keen on digital transformation, system engineering and project management.

We are looking for:

• Experience of project management and change management, ideally in digital transformation and/or Methods & Tools
• Experience of System engineering and functional / technical architecture
• Experience of system engineering tools and/or ALM tools (Polarion or others)
• Experience or minimum knowledge of languages (Javascript / python) and/or environments such as Eclipse / Sirius suite in order to be autonomous in the tools configuration
• Experience of Agile methodology
• Ability to lead coordination of complexe deliverables and to reach acceptable compromises
• Energic and autonomous
• Strong leadership and communication skills, and team-player
• Pragmatism, synthesis skills, tenacity, rigor
• English is a must. French would be a great plus
