Description
We currently have an open position in our offices in Paris for a Firmware Engineer Apprentice. The role of this position will be to participate in the development and deployment of the firmware of our MAGNA™ instrument systems.

As a firmware engineer apprentice at Depixus, you will:
· Develop the embedded managers that drive the behaviour of our instrument
· Develop the drivers used by these managers to interact with the physical world (magnetic sensors, laser, microfluidic subs-systems…)
· Create CI-compatible automatic tests for the components you developed
· Collaborate with the other engineers of the team in an Devops-oriented environment
· Participate to the discussions about the most critical aspects of the project 

This role would suit you if you:
· Get excited about complex, critical embedded systems and dig deep into how they work
· Enjoy developing safe, performant and object-oriented code
· Like making a point testing and documenting their work
· Are autonomous and appreciate being given liberty in how to manage your own projects
· Enjoy working in a dynamic start-up environment, full of passionate people
