The Supply Material and Planning (SMP) team is looking for an SAP Expert based in Paris or Lille, France !

The SMP Engineering team is part of the Value Chain domain and is responsible on various technological transformation projects (API integration in the Information System, Cloud Native development, implementation of S4 solutions...) and organizational projects(Agility at scale, Product Organization, Accelerate) for their development on their global distribution channels.

The team is facing major technical challenges regarding the maintainability and modularity of systems, as well as seamless integration with existing systems while ensuring the security and compliance of developed solutions.

As part of an internal position opening, we are recruiting an SAP Expert.

YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION

• You are responsible for the technical architecture, ensuring the scalability and the maintainability of solutions.
• You lead design workshops for programs involving multiple products or subdomains.
• You are proactive within cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and define technical choices in line with established standards.
• As a technical expert, you ensure code quality by promoting good development practices and overseeing TDD/BDD implementation.
• You technically lead the development team and ensure the quality and security of the code, validating technological choices and making impactful decisions for the company.
• You stay updated on new technologies and propose their integration to build the solutions of tomorrow.

• Monitoring and Logging: SAP Solution Manager, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk
• Automated Testing: ABAP Test Cockpit, Sonar
• Inter-Service Communication: RESTful APIs, Odata Service

WHAT YOU BRING

• You have over 5 years of development experience, including at least 2 years as a Lead Dev/Tech Lead/Staff Engineer in an SAP environment.
• You have significant expertise in S4/HANA and BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• You master software development best practices and solution architectures.
• You have significant experience in Agile methodologies.
• You have a strong technical understanding of IT solutions.
• Ideally, you have development skills.
• You have a minimum B2 level of English proficiency.
