Role Summary:

The Sales Associate will be primarily charged with materially contributing to the growth of assets under management through the distribution of CoinShares investment products and services within French-speaking regions (France, Geneva & Belgium). The successful candidate will manage, maintain and grow existing client relationships whilst also identifying and engaging with new prospective investors. As part of their role, the Sales Associate will collaborate with investor relations, product development and marketing to drive sales and client management strategies aimed at increasing asset growth, brand awareness and investment success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the distribution team to model and estimate opportunities within investor segments and subsegments in French speaking regions.
  • Engage with investors identified in the strategy and record all interactions in SalesForce, specifying the stage at which the firms are at in the investor journey.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the firms that are interested in learning more about CoinShares’ offerings by keeping them up to date with developments at CoinShares, subscribing them to CoinShares research and organising calls/meetings with research and product development team members.
  • Stay up to date with developments at CoinShares and in the broader industry and partake in regular training exercises to best prepare for investor calls and meetings.
  • Materially contribute to the growth of the business and AUM of CoinShares products and other services with respect to which the Company has a sales function to discharge.
  • Contribute to the increase of CoinShares brand awareness in French speaking regions.
  • Travel to meet with investors as per the strategy developed for said regions.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and counterparties across the business.
  • Generally, demonstrate commitment to the position as Sales Associate and work collaboratively with the Company in order to develop their skills.

    Undertaking any other such duties as may be reasonably required by the role.

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

    • Previous experience working in a financial services environment is essential.
    • An approved qualification a listed on the FCA ‘appropriate qualification’ table is essential. Previous experience operation in a CF30 (or equivalent) position is an advantage.
    • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is essential. A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field is an advantage.
    • Fluency in French, specifically business language, is essential.
    • A demonstrated interest in digital currencies is an advantage.
