Clearpay provides automated, friction-free consumer finance for e-commerce transactions in Europe. The company has originated over €500 million in online consumer loans on its proprietary platform, which has been developed leveraging the company’s expertise in data science, technology, regulatory compliance, and finance.

The Clearpay point of sale consumer finance platform for ecommerce allows consumers to pay for goods and services in monthly installments with a fully automated, paperless process and provides e-commerce merchants with a simple onboarding process to offer consumer credit in conjunction with e-commerce purchases.

Job description

PAGANTIS is an established Spanish fintech company founded in 2011 which provides automated, friction-free ‘buy now pay later’ services to large and small merchants in Spain, Italy and France.

The company has been recently acquired by Afterpay Touch Group (an Australian listed company with a market cap of AU$ 27 bn and global leading operations in the ‘buy now pay later’ industry) and is to serve as a platform for European expansion in the months to come.

You will join a brand new team and you will help build the SMB Sales across Europe. Within an agile start-up environment, we are changing the way people around the world buy the things they’re excited about through introducing scheduled payment installments at online stores such as Boohoo, ASOS, Marks & Spencer, JD Sports and many more popular retail sites.

The opportunity

As Clearpay EU continues to grow so does our sales team! We are currently seeking passionate, outgoing and committed individuals that are keen to proactively call, engage and sell Clearpay EU to retailers in Italy. This position will report into our EU SMB Sales Manager and work closely with a team of sales professionals. This position is a permanent full-time role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Outbound prospecting by both email and phone to generate new opportunities
  • Inbound conversations by contacting leads in an existing Sales Pipeline
  • Discover prospects’ unique business challenges and identify relevant opportunities to deliver value through Clearpay’s value proposition
  • Facilitate high-level conversations with senior executives at target accounts
  • Work effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver the client-centric solutions
  • Work closely with Management to develop target lists, call strategies and messaging to generate opportunities for new business

Preferred experience

  • +3-5 years’ experience in selling over the phone
  • Experience in B2B sales for eCommerce
  • Expert in Salesforce or similar
  • Well-organized person, efficient in a fast pace environment
  • Proven track record on achieving sales targets in a telesales position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Payments experience a plus
  • Italian bilingual and a second language in English or Spanish
