Octopia provides a comprehensive suite of SaaS solutions designed to support all e-commerce players in their marketplace activities. With expertise spanning Technology, Business, and Logistics, we serve both marketplace operators and third-party sellers with tailored, ready-to-use services. Within our business unit, we connect marketplaces to top-tier sellers through a plug-and-play catalog and dedicated customer success support.

Reporting to Octopia's Sales Department, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle for our key B2B accounts: prospecting, qualification, sales, closing the deal. 
Your mission: Chasing and convincing major European e-commerce players.
Working directly with Sales Management, you will be in charge of the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to signing, across Europe:

  • Identify and target the main e-commerce platforms in Europe (marketplaces, retailers, pure players),
  • Conduct proactive prospecting via targeted campaigns and an active presence at the main e-commerce trade shows and events in Europe (1 trip/month minimum),
  • Create a territory plan and develop a solid pipeline of qualified leads,
  • Analyze prospects' needs to propose a personalized approach and co-construct a pre-sales response in liaison with the marketing team, business consultants and pre-sales,
  • Manage complex long-cycle sales (6 to 12 months), with C-level contacts (Head of eCommerce, Head of Marketplace, Head of Digital),
  • Contribute to refining our sales approach in a constantly evolving market.

Profil recherché

Description du profil :

  • You have strong hunting and territory management skills,
  • At least 3 years of successful experience in complex B2B sales, ideally in tech, SaaS, marketplaces, or digital industries
  • A consultative approach to your prospects and a thorough understanding of their business and technical issues,
  • Rigorous management of your sales cycles: CRM, forecast, action plan, closing,
  • You perfectly speak English (spoken and written), a third language (German or Spanish) a real plus,
  • An appetite for international, dynamic and demanding environments.
