Finance and accounting:
Ensure the accuracy and quality of the data in our ERP (Odoo)
Oversee the payables and receivables processes
Manage our internal and external accountants and oversee all aspects of accounting activities, including accruals, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
Ensure accurate and timely monthly closings
Prepare quarterly consolidated (IFRS) figures to report to shareholders
Manage the company’s tax compliance to ensure it is complying to all applicable tax regulations
Maintain and strengthen internal controls
Budgeting and performance management :
Collaborate with the CEO to develop the yearly budget based on cost and revenue analysis and input from every team
Provide metrics and guidance to the teams to assist them in their decision-making processes and help them meet their objectives
Monitor the profitability of all projects
Create and maintain other reports as needed, such as board reports
Financing and strategy :
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations and long-term investments
Support CEO in special operations, managing data room, supporting due diligence process and supporting operational and financial integration of partners as necessary
We are looking for someone who likes the world of stories, creativity, learning and visuals but who has a solid (6+ years) experience of finance, audit and accounting.
The person should have the following skills :
Experience in a fast-growing environment
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with financial modelling and analysis to support budgeting and forecasting processes
Entrepreneurship.
Ability to translate critical financial concepts clearly and simply to colleagues without a finance background
