What your future position looks like:
For this role, you will drive the development and implementation of our content strategy for our German market across all communication channels (websites, newsletter, social media, press release), driving the writing and integration of content to optimise our SEO, image and user experience.
This includes developing a content factor and strategy, creating an editorial process and delivery strategy, managing writers, contributing to social media posts and ultimately creating interesting and well-researched content that drives traffic and brings high quality leads to our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets and develop it on all our communication channels to promote our brand in the German market.
Produce high-quality articles, blogs, press releases, email marketing messages, case studies, presentation content and survey reports
Use content management systems to analyse website traffic and users engagement metrics
Edit content produced by your team, including conceptualising the projects upfront, assigning projects and overseeing development and copy-editing prior to publishing
Continuously measure and improve content performance; create reports leveraging Google Analytics, SEMRush and social media analytics tools
Continuously manage the brand’s image internally and externally
Build and maintain editorial calendar and written guidelines
Work closely with Leo, our Country Manager, to create effective communication strategies that articulate the fundamental benefits of our product correctly and consistently.
You will be a good fit to join us if you:
Have proficiency in German as your primary language and are fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position (content marketing or direct copywriting experience)
Ability to develop, organise, and maintain process documentation
Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills in English & Dutch
Ability to use design tools (Adobe, Figma…)
Ability to manage multiple projects and juggle priorities
Must be able to respond quickly in an environment of changing priorities
Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
Previous experience using software like SEMRush and/or Google Analytics is a strong plus
