Are you ready to join us?

As our Payment Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for conducting AD HOC analysis on the payment and fraud performance of Back Market globally, help the team for projects by providing rigor analysis and automate internal processes. This role also involves monitoring our payment metrics, assisting with reporting and benchmarking best practices.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis on the payment performance, build dashboards regarding performance metrics.

  • Help build several processes to automate the seller payment process and operations (debt monitoring, KYB, seller’s associated risks).

  • Participate in the construction of new products & services on the platform and support the technical team in charge of payment to successfully implement them (Card payment optimization, alternative payment methods, etc).

  • Monitor and report our payment and KYB/deposit metrics: performance, adoption, costs.

  • Benchmark best practices of current and future markets regarding local payment methods, and consumer buying habits.

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

  • Looking for a 6-month internship from January to June 2026

  • English is a no-brainer (fully professional capability). If you’re extra cool and speak more languages, bonus points for you!

  • You have a first experience in e-commerce, ideally, you already know the world of payment.

  • You are familiar with (and love) numbers and have an excellent command of SQL, Excel, Tableau (or any other Data Visualization tool).

  • You are a Swiss Army knife, you are adaptable and enthusiastic about tackling a variety of tasks, embracing challenges.

  • Duration : 6 months

  • Full-time internship (35h/week)

  • Location : Paris, France
