AXA Climate and Altitude

AXA Climate has 5 business units to support its clients and partners, based on expertise: Insurance, Training, Consulting, SaaS Products, and Regen. Globally, we are a team of +200 climate experts, headquartered in Paris, spread over 5 continents and driven by the same desire for impact. Our purpose is to help Planet Earth become a true stakeholder of all companies, in the same way that employees, customers and shareholders are!

Altitude is the brand of our SaaS business. Our purpose is Adaptation. We build solutions, for decision makers, to enable climate and environmental adaptation. Our products are tailor-made for each persona: Private Equity firms, Agricultural cooperative, etc. We are +25 people working on it: product managers, designers, developers, business developers, etc.

We are autonomous within AXA Climate, but we work closely with the consulting teams dedicated to Financial Services and Agri sectors. We strongly believe that success is collective and we play as one team.

Altitude Finance

Altitude for Finance is our first Altitude product, launched un September 2022. It is a platform dedicated for Infrastructure and Private Equity funds, enabling risk screening in pre-acquisition Due-Diligence, and enabling portfolio monitoring for reporting (such as TCFD). It is an innovative one-stop-shop for sustainability and investment teams, screening climate and nature-related risks and opportunities within minutes, very easy to use, and fully automated.

During first year, in 2023, we signed +40 clients, mainly in Europe. It’s time for step 2, as we are planning to triple that in 2024.

Your mission as an Account Executive

You will join the Altitude Sales Team, made of 6 people so far. Your main goal will be to grow the number of Altitude’s users by finding and securing new clients. You will be focusing on European Private Equity market.

To do so, you will be responsible of the full sell-cycle. This includes the following missions:

  • Identify prospects among PE ESG Managers (through cold reach, event participation, partnerships, personal network)

  • Get meetings to generate new opportunities

  • Understand their needs and demonstrate how Altitude can be relevant for them (as well as giving feedbacks to Product people!)

  • Handle the negotiation and contractual part.

Based on your skills and appetite, you could also contribute to others missions related to marketing initiatives, inbound lead, and communication. As we are still in an early phase of our development, your scope could evolve quickly based on your will.

The core team is based in Paris, as well as the position.

Profil recherché

  • Experience: you already have 3 to 5+ years experience in a similar role at a high growth B2B company.
    Experience in Private-Equity or Fintech is a plus.

  • Sales-oriented: You are a Sales person, you know how to identify new opportunities and close them.

  • Customer-centric & Consultative selling: You are curious, and like to resolve problems and create partnerships with the people you’re working for.

  • Fluent in English and French, additional languages are a plus.

  • Excellent listening and communication skills.

  • Organized and rigorous: you pay attention to details in the execution and the follow-up of missions.

More importantly:

  • You have a strong interest for climate, sustainability, and science

  • You’re a fantastic team player, with whom it is cool to work alongside.
