Our Digital Signal Processing (DSP) team is composed of 10 PhDs and Engineers with a diversity of international academic and professional backgrounds. On this position, you will conduct research and innovation in audio signal processing, and you will be responsible for the quality and efficiency of the audio algorithms you create.

Your main responsibilities are the following:

  • Prototyping of sound synthesis and processing algorithms for Arturia products
  • Production of high-quality C++ audio algorithms in terms of sound quality, efficiency and maintainability
  • Active technology watch and implementation of prototypes based on state-of-the-art methods
  • Measurement and analysis of signals in electronic musical instruments such as vintage synthesizers or audio effect units
  • Proposition of ideas for the specifications of Arturia products

Profil recherché

  • Master’s or PhD graduate in mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering or signal processing, with at least 8 years of experience or a PhD on a subject relevant to this position
  • Significant experience in digital signal processing applied to audio, or in analog signal processing and electronics for audio applications, or in mathematics applied to audio.
  • You should have knowledge of several of the following topics: sound synthesis methods, audio effects algorithms, electronics circuits measurements, analysis and simulation, virtual analog methods for efficient circuit emulations, C++ language, Python and/or Matlab for prototyping, computer-assisted music tools and/or vintage synthesizers.
  • An interest in music is a strong asset
  • Good level of English required (oral/written) to work in our international team
