To strengthen our Data Center Department, we are seeking an experienced Design Manager.

In this role, you will lead the design phases of large-scale data center projects, working closely with the design team to ensure high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Client Management: Identify client needs, define technical and financial options, and conduct regular project progress meetings.
  • Project Coordination: Organize, plan, and oversee design studies with project teams, while contributing to key deliverables.
  • Operational Reporting: Ensure consistent internal and external reporting throughout project phases.
  • Quality Control: Validate deliverables, leveraging your technical expertise and input from specialists.
  • Financial & Contractual Oversight: Manage project budgets and contractual aspects.
  • Business Development: Support commercial efforts with the department manager and sales team, participate in client meetings, respond to tenders, and contribute to presentations.

Profil recherché

  • Engineering degree with at least 8 years of experience in data center project management, preferably as an HVAC or electrical engineer in a technical design office.
  • Proven experience working in a Data Center environment and familiarity with Anglo-Saxon project frameworks (RIBA).
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Strong autonomy, rigor, synthesis skills, writing, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure project coherence.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of REVIT is a plus.
  • Regulatory knowledge: Understanding of Uptime Institute Tier Certification and TIA 942 standard.
