➡️ What you will be doing

As a Backend Developer, you’ll be helping the team deliver high quality features for our phishing simulation platform. This is a hands-on engineering role and will be primarily focused on development within Node.js/Express.
This role will be primarily focused on development within Firebase and Google Cloud Platform using Node.js / Express. You’ll also work with other libraries, systems, and services that build out the tech ecosystem that power the Arsen platform

• Working on a small team with a positive can-do attitude
• Implementing back-end interfaces and internal tools using Node.js
• Designing technical server-side systems based on product requirements
• Working with the tech team to build new features and maintain our current codebase
• Manage code pushes to Google Cloud instances (App Engine, GCF)

➡️ Requirements for the role

• You are an experienced developers with Node.js / Express / TypeScript
• Good knowledge of best practices: TDD, Clean Architecture, DRY code, etc.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design
• Experience in building projects from scratch, from ideation to implementation strategy
• Familiarity with NoSQL database
• Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude
• You are comfortable working both in a team and also working independently to ensure goals are achieved
• You are a passionate learner and are motivated to take on new challenges
• Good spoken and written communication skills in both English and French

➡️ Experience that would be great for you to have

• Previous startup/growth-stage experience
• Interest and/or previous experiences working in cybersecurity
• Google Cloud Platform, and Firebase experience a plus
• Knowledge or grunt or other JS task runner is a plus
• Knowledge of a time series database (TSDB) is a plus

There are 3 levels of our hiring process:

• The first level is about cultural and functional fit: you’ll have a 45-minute interview with the CTO ot make sure your work preferences and your values align with those of Arsen.

• The second round will be a 1 hour technical interview where you will demonstrate your ability to think, code and search solutions to problems.
  If our team finds you have the necessary skills you will move to the next and last level of our process.

• Finally, you will meet Thomas, CEO of Arsen, in our office to discuss soft skills and a general HR interview will be conducted. We will also start to discuss about compensation & perks.
