About the project

As part of our growth, we’re looking for an SAP Solution Architect to strengthen the architecture and capabilities of our SAP connector for AODocs, designed for both on-premise and cloud integration.

The ideal candidate will have experience in classic ABAP, ABAP in the cloud, SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), RAP (Restful Application Programming Model), CAP (Cloud Application Programming) and API integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a connector between AODocs and SAP on premise and in the cloud, for seamless document management integration.

• Implement ABAP Cloud development principles using SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA.

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and OData services for data exchange between SAP and AODocs.

• Utilize SAP Business API Hub and standard SAP integration frameworks.

• Ensure security, performance, and scalability of the connector.

• Work closely with AODocs development team to align with their architecture and requirements.

• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business analysts to optimize integration flows.

• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and provide technical documentation.

• 7+ years of experience in ABAP development

• Strong experience in classic and object-oriented ABAP, including BAPIs, BADIs, Function Modules, and custom enhancements. Ability to design and implement scalable solutions, including integration with Fiori/UI5 applications.

• Experience with SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).

• Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies, including SAP Gateway, CDS views, and OData.

• Proficiency in REST API development and third-party system integration.

• Familiarity with DMS, or enterprise document workflows (preferred but not mandatory).

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SAP ArchiveLink or SAP Document Management Services

• Experience with Javascript, Java, or Python (for potential backend or middleware tasks).

• SAP Certification in SAP BTP or ABAP in Cloud (a plus).
