Ankorstore was founded in 2019 to build a platform that enables independent shops and brands to connect and thrive. As a result, we became a wholesale marketplace that provides the tools these entrepreneurs need to compete against e-commerce giants.

We work with a network of independent retailers all across Europe, including concept stores, design shops, boutiques, fine food stores and other retailers. Brands retain complete control over which retailers they choose and who they sell to.

We support businesses and local economies, not corporations, employing communities of creative people who value craftsmanship over mass production and mass-market deals.

Only two years after our successful launch, we gathered 300,000 retailers and 30,000 brands across Europe and reached unicorn status with a valuation of €1.75 billion.

Duration : 4 to 6 months

About your role :

As a Payment and Fraud Management intern, you will be part of a dynamic, international and very friendly team.

Your role will be to contribute to Ankorstore’s mission to Rewild Retail, by ensuring the best payment experience for our Retailers and Brands, while protecting the platform from any type of fraud:

• Running some verifications on Retailers buying on Ankorstore, through best-in-class internal and external tools
• Ensuring good communication on Payment and Fraud management, both externally - with our Brands & Retailers - and internally - with all other Ankorstore teams
• Addressing any questions related to payment, including with our financial partners (Stripe, our payment service provider, and Hokodo, our BNPL provider)
• Managing all issues related to payment (dispute management, collection of unpaid claims, etc.)
• Participating in the team’s continuous improvement of our tools and processes, to identify any automation opportunities that could improve our Brand’s & Retailer’s experience, while enhancing our efficiency

The experience and skills we are looking for:

• Graduating from a Business or Engineering School (or academic equivalent)
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluent in French and very good English level
• Interest in payments and sensitivity to technological / digital subjects
• Sense of initiative, creativity, and thoroughness
• Strong knowledge of Excel
