Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Software Development Leader for ​Embedded critical RTOS platform (f/m) to join our Avionics Software team based inToulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing the software components which are part of embedded avionics applications such as Flight Controls, to run on specific or modular hardware platforms. As part of the software team, you will be involved in developing avionics real-time software, and more specifically new features and new components for our reusable Critical Operating System DO178 DAL-A, aiming at delivering a new Avionics Product Line.

Your challenges:

• Develop and deliver Embedded Critical Operating System features for the new generation of avionics flight control computers: Network protocols and drivers, I/O, Run-Time Environment Platform Management & System Partitions for complex hardware development

• Develop embedded real-time software following the development process from the high-level specification analysis to the integration and the validation on the definitive hardware.

• Manage your activities following the expected schedule, budget and quality.

Your boarding pass:

• 10 years min of professional experience 

• Technical expertise: C language, Makefiles, DEVOPS (GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle, Artifactory, JIRA), software engineering in terms of methods and tools, processor architecture (cache, MMU, pipeline, DMA)

• Development of embedded critical software compliant with the DO178C DAL-A regulations

• Technical knowledge and skills on Network domain for Embedded Critical Operating System: OSI, IP, Ethernet, UDP

• Good knowledge of all the steps of the V-cycle development process

• Advanced level of French and English mandatory

Salary range based on the required profile: 60 to 70 K€/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
