Job Description:

Our Department, Quality Assurance for Engineering is looking for Software System Quality Assurance Manager. 

You will work within a transversal department, with significant interfaces across functions (Program, Procurement & Supply Chain and Quality).

Your challengesThe jobholder is responsible for the deployment and application of the Quality Assurance processes applicable for digital systems developments made of complex equipment.The jobholder is acting from the beginning of the Digital System development until its qualification and transfer to the Production Organization and or to operation in service, including:

  • Perform QA (Quality Assurance) risk assessment and define the appropriate QA level of implication , share it with other QA stakeholders and contribute to the global Engineering QA strategy for the impacted Programmes.

  • Contribute to management plans related to Systems.

  • Write/update QA plan(s) (SysQAP (System Quality Assurance Plan), SW( Software) QAP (Quaity Assuarance Plan)).

  • Support SDR (System Design Responsible) domain architects in process application from architecture loops to the system qualification.

  • Support the Project leader in his/her process execution and resolve Quality issues.

  • Manage the internal Design Reviews at each level of the Digital System (System, Equipment, Software).

  • Perform actions follow-up of the Design Reviews.

  • Contribute to the Quality network of the impacted Programmes.

  • Animate the QA stackeholders acting on the Digital System

  • Assess the main Digital System deliverables maturity, (sampling, checking, witnessing deliverables according to QA implication level)

  • Assess process adherence, provide recommendations and facilitate improvements.

  • Approve deliverables according to the applicable referential (QMS (Quality Management System) and applicable plans).

  • Contribute to the deployment of Quality & Aviation Safety culture and tools (e.g. APQP, (this is an international acronym) lessons learnt, PPS…)

This job position  is a great opportunity for a candidate to develop his/her skills on various Digital Systems and fields such as displays & controls, mission, combat & awareness, autopilot, vehicle management, environmental control, health & usage, flight management, maintenance systems…for civil and/or military architectures.Your profileWe are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience

  • 5 years of experience in Aeronautics, ideally about complex Equipment, e.g. as SDR or in System Engineering related function

  • Understanding/knowledge of PART21J/ARP4754/DO-178, Design & Development processes (including configuration), Quality processes

  • Knowledge of Avionics and/or SW development

  • Listening & writing skills and ability to formally assess and report status of activities and deliverables

  • Service and customer oriented and ability to propose/tailor various strategies/methods

  • Language : English advanced level, French fluent
