Overall Job definition:

The Electrical Treatment Engineer drives innovative projects to optimize the cell formation process in terms of Operational Excellence.

They work in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders (Industrial, R&D, Simulation teams, academics…) to identify and to optimize Product/Process interactions during electrical treatment through a scientific approach.

They will provide a technical assistance to Industrial teams for new product launch and/or to fix quality issues.

Main missions:

From a global point of view :

• To identify most impacting parameters of the electrical treatment process for various chemistries through a scientific methodology associating physics and data analysis.
• To define means and technologies to characterize if process is answering product requirements
• To optimize with R&D team and Process Manufacturing Engineering team process parameters to reach the product performance
• In case of deviation, to be able to define the root cause and to propose actions plan
• To make a technology and IP survey

Knowledge:

• Expertise : technical knowledge related to electrical treatment of cells (SEI formation)
• Analytical skills (detection, imaging,..) to monitor electrical treatment mechanisms.
• Data mining skills to optimize electrical treatment process efficiency (DOE, data analysis)

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of experience into electrical treatment processes.
• Experience in formation optimization is a strong plus.

Qualifications:

• Msc or PhD in electrochemical engineering or physics & chemistry processes
• English is mantadory
• French & German optional.
