Recruitment criteria

We are looking for passionate people who will integrate well into our teams. Whether or not you have a diploma and what technology you've mastered is of little importance: team spirit, humility, kindness, risk-taking, and curiosity are just as crucial to us as technical knowledge.

And again, don't worry if you don't know Elixir; it's not a prerequisite to apply!

Organization & Schedule

We are an agile bunch, with on-the-fly deliverables assigned daily by the Product squad. Our multidisciplinary teams are autonomous in their scope and consist of a Product Manager, a Product Designer, three to five developers, an Engineering Manager, a QA Engineer, and a Data Analyst.

Each person reports to a Manager, and developers report to an Engineering Manager depending on their squad.

The different roles work hand-in-hand on projects, with several team check-ins throughout the week:

  • Daily stand ups

  • Backlog grooming every two weeks

  • Retrospectives at least twice per quarter as well as post-mortems

  • Synchronization meetings when two squads are brought to work on a common subject

  • Knowledge sharing sessions every two weeks (Jungle Workshops and Practice Chapters)

  • A Jungle Labs day every month to explore new technologies and hackathons twice a year

  • Morning Tech meetings twice a quarter to discuss team progress and news

  • Tech & Product Days once a year to prepare the next roadmap and take a step back to reflect upon our practices and processes

  • Events in our French hubs in Nantes, Bordeaux, Marseille, and Nice: dedicated coworking spaces are rented for people who work remotely
  • And of course drinks, especially when people who work from home come for their monthly visit to Paris!

  • Welcome to the Jungle Solution: Innovative solutions for companies looking to develop their employer brand, strengthen their appeal, and recruit top talent.

  • And many other projects: We have over 60 external integrations, an admin console, an SSO, an employer brand application, and several back offices.

Ongoing learning

Because tech is constantly changing and it's vital to keep up with the latest innovations, we offer:

  • Training on demand (with financial support, subject to approval by your manager)
  • The option to attend conferences and meetups of your choice (with financial support, subject to approval by your manager)
  • Dedicated monthly Jungle Labs days so you can deepen your knowledge on technical subjects without having to worry about your other work tasks
  • Knowledge-sharing during Jungle Workshops and Chapters sessions, which happen every two weeks
  • Participation in programming sessions to learn about Elixir
  • Opportunities to share your learnings with the Tech community via writing articles, participating in talks, podcasts, etc.
