About the Role
As a Senior Strategy & Planning Associate for Western & Southern Europe, you will work with the Strategy & Planning Lead, and in close partnership with the Sub-region General Managers and Head of Countries General Managers to help with the strategic decisions and planning process.

What You’ll Do

• Work with subregional, regional (Western & Southern Europe) and mega-regional (EMEA) teams to help drive strategic priorities
• Actively support subregional teams by participating in key strategic analyses and projects
• Build, maintain, and communicate reporting models to watch the performance in the region
• Understand and look out for the WSE market and local competition. Be an inventive, go-getting multitasker, supporting city teams to make strategic decisions with a competition lens.
• Collaborate with other functional areas within Uber (Business Development, Product, Public Policy, Legal, Finance etc.) to ensure efficient and productive working relationships

What you’ll need

• Minimum of 6 years of investment banking / consulting / business intelligence or other related quantitative experience; high-growth analytics or operations experience a plus
• Strong communication and organization skills; ability to work with remote teams
• Excellent Excel skills, SQL proficiency preferred
• Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and to do them well.
