As a Travel & Expenses Manager at Qonto, your hands-on approach will not only be about managing policies and tools but also providing direct assistance to Qonto employees and meticulously reviewing all expenses to ensure they align with our policies.

Your mission is to enhance the travel and expense management process, making it more efficient, cost-effective, and user-friendly. By working closely with our People Ops team, led by Natalia, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape the transition of this role from Finance to People Ops, directly impacting our team's satisfaction and operational efficiency.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Travel & Expenses Manager at Qonto, you will:

Be the frontline support for Qonto employees, assisting them with their travel and expenses inquiries, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience.

Implement and oversee the deployment of Workday Expenses, becoming the central figure for expense management at Qonto.

Manage our travel management tool, TravelPerk, and administer the Qonto app for company cards, ensuring seamless travel arrangements and transactions.

Drive cost optimizations through diligent negotiations and continuous policy and process improvements, directly contributing to Qonto's financial health.

Conduct rigorous controls, validations, and reporting on expenses, fostering transparency and compliance across the board.

🤔 What you can expect:

A unique role at the crossroads of Finance, Operations, and People Ops, offering a chance to pioneer new processes and policies that enhance Qontoers' experience.

A hands-on opportunity to directly assist our team, making a tangible impact on their day-to-day operations and satisfaction.

Advanced tools and methodologies including Workday Expenses, TravelPerk, and Qonto's own app for managing company cards, equipping you with the best resources to succeed.

A supportive transition, with direct attachment to People Ops under the guidance of @natalia.szott, ensuring a smooth and impactful integration into your new role.

🤝 About your future manager:

Working directly under the leadership of Natalia, you'll be part of a team that's at the forefront of redefining how People Ops contributes to the organization. Natalia's experience and vision for the team will be instrumental in your onboarding and success in this role.

🏅 About You:

Experience: Your background in procurement, workplace/office management, or customer support, coupled with experience in a People team, equips you with a unique blend of skills for this role.

Mastery: Exceptional project management abilities, with a knack for spotting and implementing efficiencies in processes and tools.

Curiosity and Communication: You're outgoing, innovative, and proficient in technology, with fluency in English (French is a bonus), enabling you to effectively support and communicate with all Qontoers.
