The EMEA (Europe Middle-East & Africa) and APAC (Asia Pacific) departments combine the commercial activities of D-EDGE in their respective regions. Each country is under the direction of a Country Manager. The Sales teams prospect for new customers.

You will be joining the Portugal Sales team and will be reporting to Luis Martins, VP of Business Development Spain & LATAM.


The Junior Sales Manager is responsible for new Client Acquisition - Hotels, within an assigned territory. He/She is responsible for planning and prioritizing business development activities to achieve company goals and monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, utilizing and developing innovative strategies to maximize results.


  • Develop a sustained pipeline by actively prospecting via cold-calls, marketing lead follow-up, building professional relationships

  • Organize meetings with relevant Hotel decision makers, travel to client locations to attend meetings on site

  • Perform analysis of prospects’ business and design solutions that best meet customer needs.

  • Prepare accurate quotes, develop and present proposals to clients in a professional and confident manner

  • Negotiate contracts as required, maintaining a balance between optimal service and value for the client, and D-EDGE’s profit margins

  • Appropriately engage Management and staff in the sales cycle and provide on-going feedback

  • Independently close deals in a timely manner

  • Maintain accurate records of your business development activities on Salesforce CRM system. Ensure all documentation is complete post sales to set up trials and to move the client to a subscription

  • Share client feedback on solutions to the Product Team for review

  • Work with local industry groups and travel and hotel associations to promote D-EDGE’s products and brand

  • Participate in Trade Fairs and sales seminars

  • Develop a strong technical baseline through training

  • Follow the monthly sales plan to identify the sales activities which will drive new opportunities

  • Educate the market and position our value proposition

  • Close deals with the team in a timely manner

  • Meet / exceed all sales and growth target for the region

  • You have excellent presentation and listening skills

  • You are able to quickly assimilate and learn new products and systems

  • Bilingual fluency in the country is a must

  • Bilingual fluency in English.

  • Efficiency in Excel, MS Word

  • You are fluent in any other languages

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM

  • Hotel experience (operations)

  • SaaS experience, ideally in the hotel/hospitality technology space

Recruitment process

1. Telephone interview with Talent Acquisition Manager.

Let’s get to know each other (~30 minutes)

2. First interview with the VP of Business Development Spain & LATAM.

You will talk about your background and motivations, position and its context, our business, and ambitions. (~60 minutes)

3. Case Study Restitution in front of the VP of Business Development Spain & LATAM (~30 minutes)

4. Interview with the Chief Commercial Officer
