We are looking for a talented and passionate Core Lead Developer Back-end PHP / Public cloud (AWS or GCP) with experience in core development for distributed environments, leveraging microservices and cloud architecture paradigms. The ideal candidate will have a strong communication & mentoring skills, agile & pramatic mindset, team player, get the shit done approach.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: 

Lead a team of back-end developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support. 

Oversee the technical direction of projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices. 

• Architectural Design and Development: 

Design, develop, and maintain complex back-end systems using PHP and related technologies. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, design specifications, and implement solutions. 

• Performance Optimization and Scalability: 

Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and scalability of the platform. 

Conduct in-depth code reviews to maintain code quality and performance standards. 

• Database Management: 

Design and optimize database schemas to support application requirements. 

Write efficient SQL queries, manage indexes, and ensure data integrity. 

• API Development and Integration: 

Develop robust APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services. 

Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure efficient communication between the front-end and back-end systems. 

• Security and Compliance: 

Implement advanced security measures to safeguard user data and protect against vulnerabilities. 

Stay updated with industry standards and compliance requirements to ensure strict adherence. 

• Debugging and Troubleshooting: 

Identify and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and errors in a timely manner. 

Conduct extensive testing and debugging to maintain a stable and reliable platform. 

• Code Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: 

Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture. 

Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous learning within the team.

• 10+years of experience in PHP development, with a focus on distributed systems and microservices architecture, MySQL, and related technologies. 

• 3+ years of experience in Lead Developer, with a focus on core development. 

• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP technologies (AWS or GCP certification is a plus) 

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies

• Familiarity with Dev(Sec)Ops and/or GitOps approaches 

• Excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
