📋 Context

Your role will be strategic in monitoring, analyzing, and providing insights into the cost of risk, financial returns and profitability associated with Younited loan exposure. Your responsibilities will encompass financial analysis, reporting, budget and capital planning, portfolio management and stress testing, and contributing to strategic initiatives to enhance risk assessment and management.

Your responsabilities :

Cost of Risk and P&L Analysis

  • Monitor, forecast, and analyze Younited’s Cost of Risk and its impact on the overall Profit and Loss (P&L).

  • Provide clear explanations and attribution of the P&L associated with Younited’s Loan Portfolio, including cost of risk assessment by country and business line.

  • Prepare monthly analysis reports for senior management, highlighting gaps to Budget Planning targets.

    Budget & Capital Planning Contribution

  • Design and develop forecasting models to predict the evolution of cost of risk on Younited’s Loan Portfolio, considering factors like exposure amortization, risk factors, new origination, portfolio sales, and macroeconomic trends.

  • Contribute to the capital and budget planning process based on the insights from cost of risk analysis.

  • Strong collaboration with strategy team in charge of budget planning & equity fund raising.

    Stress Testing & ICAAP

  • Develop stress scenarios and simulate their impact on Younited’s Budget and Capital planning assessments, with a focus on loan portfolio evolution.

  • Contribute to the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and Living will process (PPR) by providing valuable insights from stress testing exercises.

  • Strong collaboration with strategy & Asset-Liability Management (ALM) team

    Non-Performing Loans (NPL) Strategy:

  • Support the NPL Sales strategy by providing valuation insights, including pricing of bad debt products using Discounted Cash-flows method.

  • Strong collaboration with capital market team in charge of sourcing loan investors.

    Finance Control and Risk Perspective

  • Conduct data quality control on Finance-related processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Offer a risk perspective on Asset and Liability Management (ALM) and rates hedging strategies, contributing to robust decision-making.

Profil recherché

🫵 About your profile

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

  • Proficiency in SQL queries and data analysis tools, with experience in BigQuery preferred.

  • Understanding of risk management principles and financial modeling.

  • Excellent communication skills to present insights and recommendations effectively.

  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Utilize BigQuery SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

  • Leverage data analysis tools to generate meaningful insights from financial and risk-related datasets.

  • His background : Joachim has more than 12y experience in Credit, covering various fields & products (strategy, trading, portfolio management). He has been working at Younited for 6 years and oversees Credit Portfolio Management, Data Analytics and Pricing activities
