Descriptif du poste
The intern will be part of the M&A team (8 professionals) and will participate in all the M&A deals as well as the pre-integration of these deals.
This internship is a great opportunity to experience the buoyant payment sector, at the cross road of financial services and digital commerce. Worldline has a stated ambition by for external development with large M&A pipeline at the heart of its strategy. The trainee will enjoy exposure from end-to-end M&A process, from origination to closing.

Objectives of the internship :
Deepen the M&A experience in an international group with an ambitious external growth policy
Coordinate with external advisors (bankers, lawyers, auditors)
Interact with the Group’s other functions (operational and support functions such as Finance, Legal, IT, HR, etc.) and at different levels
Main missions :
Participation in the strategic and financial analysis of potential targets
Financial analysis and valuation on the target
Participation in the drafting of presentations to the Investment Committee
Participation in M&A processes: monitoring due diligence, liaising with various external advisors, preparing legal documentation in conjunction with lawyers, integration strategy in conjunction with the Integration
Monitoring of the conditions precedent between signing and closing and post-closing (implementation of the guarantee, payment of earn-out, etc.)
Required skills :
Financial analysis, modelling, business valuation
Fluent English speaking, analysis, and writing skill
Strong teamwork and initiative skills
Ability to adapt to the Group’s universe (proactivity, respect for confidentiality, numbers of interlocutors)
Excellent knowledge of Office tools (Excel and Powerpoint)
Organization and ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
Good spirit and sense of humor
Profil recherché
Profile :
Bac+4/5 (Business School, University, etc.)
Specialization in corporate finance
Previous experience in investment banking (M&A), transaction services or private equity
6-month internship from September 2022, based in Paris La Défense (partial home office possible)
