Based in Berlin, the VP Sales Germany will report to the company Chief Commercial Officer.

The VP Sales Germany primary objective is to secure long term partnerships with pharmaceutical companies in Germany (incl. Global HQ and local affiliates). The VP has a deep experience and expertise in the pharma industry as well as a robust track record in selling complex and innovative solutions to pharma, ideally to marketing, medical affairs and real-world evidence services.

Focus :

• Conduct aggressive prospecting strategy. Identify new prospects whose business needs and requirements align with Wefight offerings and develop compelling use cases. Understand customer expectations and negotiate contracts effectively ;
• Build and implement short-mid-long term sales and go-to-market strategies for Wefight solutions. Develop annual plans for the broad range of services offered by Wefight (incl. Vik Companion, Vik Studies etc.) ;
• Establish and maintain critical relationships with C-level and decision makers from pharma companies in Germany ;
• Collaborate with product management, marketing and communication as well as technical team to develop cohesive sales strategy ;
• Deliver reports to executive management and assist with forecasting and competitive intelligence for all strategy surrounding sales and account management ;
• Attend presentations and company learning sessions to stay up to date on product knowledge and features. Turn knowledge into compelling proposals to convey value proposition to customers ;
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the competitive landscape (remote monitoring, real-world evidence platform, patient insights).


Profil recherché

• MBA preferred with management or technical specialization (scientific/medical background is a plus) ;
• Proven track record in selling complex solutions to the pharma industry and ability to demonstrate consistent achievement of sales target. Experience and proven success in building and maintaining relationships with partners and pharma in Germany. Ability to build profitable GTM strategies and increase market share ;
• Deep knowledge of major industry stakeholders perspectives (patients, pharma, payers, regulators), local/regional/global market trends, emerging and disruptive technologies, pharma main challenges linked to real-world data ;
• 6+ years of experience in selling complex solutions to the pharma industry ;
• Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable delivering presentations to C-level executives and top management from pharma ;
• Technical awareness of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) ;
• Ability to talk with compliance, IT, legal, regulatory, procurement and all layers of the business and connect the dots ;
• Open to travel frequently.
