Who are we ?

The creation of Volta Medical follows the discovery of a new complex medical procedure to treat atrial fibrillation (the most common cardiac arrhythmia in the world) by the company’s founders, world experts in interventional rhythmology and intracardiac signal analysis. 

Volta Medical is an innovative start-up based in Marseille, whose goal is to provide a range of artificial intelligence-based products to guide the cardiologist during ablation-type procedures.

We started this adventure 7 years ago and our team now has more than 100 employees in France, Germany and the United States ! We completed a $27 million Series A round in November 2020 and a $36 million Series B round in January 2023.

  • Contribute to the commercial strategy by analyzing commercial opportunities in centers
  • Achieve the sales targets in the assigned territory
  • Maintain sales base while closing new business in both new and existing accounts.
  • In liaison with the RBD, develop the client's portfolio in a given territory
  • Developing business in the region by targeting appropriate establishments for successful trials and launch of new products with the manager
  • Work with the RBD & Field Clinical Leader to ensure the optimal adoption of Volta products
  • Conducting product demonstrations for rhythmologists and medical staff
  • Provides regional Volta procedural case coverage
  • Deploying and installing our solutions in hospitals
  • Utilizing strong interpersonal communication skills while engaging with customers to resolve issues.
  • Remain current on developments in field(s) of expertise, regulatory requirements, and a good working knowledge of company and competitor products, markets, and objectives as well as industry trends

  • Profile

  • A degree in life sciences or equivalent;
  • Ideally medical devices sales experience in Electrophysiology, cardiac pacing and related industries.
  • You have a proven experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar role
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Professional, team-player, mature, results orientated, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational planning skills

    Recruitment process

  • Pre-qualification call with the HR team - 30’ (call)
  • Interview with the Regional Business Director - 60’ (visio or in person) 
  • Interview with the EU VP of Sales and a team member - 60’ (visio or in person) 
  • Culture fit interview with HR and Volta ambassador - 60’ (in person)
