Data Scientist Apprentice (F/M/D)

12 months apprenticeship starting in September, based in Paris

About the role

You will be responsible for assisting more senior Data Scientists in their research and development of models by exploring new features, model algorithms and analysing models performances. You should have strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Statistics, excellent data analytical skills with attention to details.

What you’ll do

• Support the team with analysis and research to understand and recommend model improvements
• Prototype new models and improve existing processes
• Extract, transform and load data for machine learning models
• Work closely with the rest of the Data Team (Data Engineers, BI Engineers)
• Build model deployment pipelines

Who you are

• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or related technical field
• Experience using Pandas and SQL
• Good knowledge of Python and standard machine learning libraries
• Detail-oriented, self-starter, ability to timely execute and manage small projects
• You can easily learn and adapt to a dynamic environment
• You understand the importance of balancing doing R&D and regularly delivering value to the end-users
• Problem solver with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy.
• You can explain your technical choices in English. French is a plus.
