Upway is hiring an Operations Manager among its Operations team in France. The Operations team’s role is to create the largest and highest-quality e-bike offering for Upway shoppers, by sourcing the best e-bikes, refurbishing them and delivering them to their new owner in a seamless customer experience.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for owning entire parts of operational flow, managing teams in our warehouse, building processes to optimize operations, analyzing data to understand and bridge gaps, and working closely with the rest of the company to provide best in class experiences to customers.
What you will do ?
Lead and scale a team of warehouse operators
Design, build and own entire parts of the operational flow
Be extremely customer centric in your decision making
Deliver the best warehouse output, every day again
Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and partners
Design, implement and improve processes to optimize customer experience and financial efficiency
Set up tools and dashboards to get an accurate view on operations
Work closely with the rest of the company to support an extremely fast paced growth and expansion

Strong academic background in engineering, finance, logistics, business or similar
1-3 years of experience in Operations, Finance, or equivalent
Fluency in French, proficiency in English
Possess strong communication and leadership skills, able to lead a team in a warehouse environment
Superior problem solving skills; able to manage detail, establish root cause, and to analyse data
Comfort with working in a fast-paced and changing environment
Attention to details and obsession for operational excellence
Readiness to be fully accountable for a complex operational scope
Thrive on change and a dynamic environment
