We are looking for our Head of Sales to lead the B2B Sourcing team. Your mission is central to Upway’s growth: building, leading and enabling the team that will secure high-quality second-hand e-bikes from professional partners so we can continuously expand and renew the offering available on our platform.
You and your team will work closely with a wide range of retail partners and will ultimately be responsible for buying the best ebikes at the best price.
Your missions will be :
Lead the B2B sourcing team: Build, coach, and lead a high-performing B2B sourcing team.
Define the B2B sourcing strategy: Develop a comprehensive B2B strategy for the France & Southern Europe markets in terms of bike shops portfolio management, partner tiering and allocation, field cadence…
Own and optimize the team performance : Track and improve key KPIs such as bikes sourced, portfolio growth and activity rate.
Deploy New Services : As we develop new opportunities to collaborate with our partners (pickup, dropoff, maintenance), lead the deployment on the ground and co-design partner communications (newsletters, point-of-sale materials, etc.).
Improve sales operations: Design and implement scalable sales processes, CRM workflows, and operational frameworks.
B2B Experience: 7+ years in B2B Sales / Business Development. Experience in the cycling industry is a plus, but we value “Sales DNA” (FMCG, SaaS, Field Sales) above all else.
Leadership: 3+ years of management experience with a proven track record in leading teams and/or building sales structures from the ground up.
Strategic Mindset: Ability to structure and prioritize the efforts of your teams based on both quantitative and qualitative insights to deliver expected results with maximum efficiency
Road Warrior: You are energized by being in the field. You are willing to travel 60-80% of the time across France (and occasionally Southern Europe) to be close to your team and to your partners.
Languages: Native level in French and professional proficiency in English (for internal reporting). Spanish and/or Italian are a plus.
