The Role

With massive growth plans in place, Treatwell is looking for an experienced Community Manager to help build and strengthen our community of hair and beauty salon partners. The Local B2B Community Manager will act as a bridge between Treatwell and our FR partners, developing and overseeing our engagement plans, planning and running local online and offline events, and leading our Ambassador Programme efforts, aiming to strengthen relationships with key players in the industry. Reporting to your local Country Manager, you’ll work closely with our FR Supply team, building a deep level of knowledge of our products and our partners, our Digital team, within Marketing, creating engaging content for social media channels, and our existing Events team, implementing local events and supporting bigger national events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning the planning, implementation and development of the partner ambassador program within the local market - you will have full ownership of the programme, from researching and establishing contact with new ambassadors, through to building relationships and implementing initiatives to increase satisfaction of ambassadors
  • Building relationships with existing partners by organising local events that help drive engagement and retention
  • Managing online channels such as WhatsApp, Facebook group, Telegram to engage and nurture our relationship with partners
  • Participating in local industry events (e.g. a L’Oréal event or awards evening) to create connections with industry leaders and local stakeholders
  • Coordinating with the central Marketing team to ensure brand consistency and align on the overall marketing strategy
  • Supporting the creation of content (video, testimonial, photos, interview) of brand ambassadors and partners to use for marketing purpose
  • Liaising with Product and Supply teams to stay updated on new products and features at all times
  • Actively researching trends and hot topics within the industry
  • Gauging sentiment about the brand and providing feedback to internal teams
  • Coordinate with central marketing team to support the organization of events and exhibition for the french/belgium markets

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • A self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional
  • Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role, managing an online/offline community, running events and communicating directly with (potential) partners or customers
  • You are a native speaker of French, and fluent in English.
  • A ‘people person’ with strong soft skills; empathy, good listening skills and adaptability are crucial
  • A good copywriter with high written communication skills
  • Ability to create content for social media
  • Work well managing stakeholders; taking their input on board, managing briefs, and ensuring great communication makes any project a success
  • Strong project management skills, working well within a team but also as a project owner ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities
