The Traceability officer will play a crucial role in implementing maintaining, entering and processing commercial traceability systems to ensure transparency, good processes and accountability in our coffee supply chain.

Assisting, and leading the link between the Production, Logistics, Quality and Trade team in their fulfilment of transparency and EUDR obligations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in traceability, data management, excels knowledge and a good understanding of coffee sourcing and processing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Mapping:

  • Develop of a comprehensive supply chain map in collaboration with the Production, Logistic and Quality teams.

  • Maintain the process flow chart (from coffee reception up to export), Operational Procedures, databases, and documents to guarantee the good manufacturing and storage practices (food quality and safety)

  • Promote and propose technology solutions for traceability.

  • Track non-conformities and corrective actions for continuous improvement.

EU Deforestation Regulation, Due Diligence Processes and Supplier engagement :

  • Collaborate with Legal and Sustainability teams to interpret and implement regulatory guidelines (EUDR, DueD) effectively.

  • Create and manage internal Operational Procedures and databases to fit EUDR requirements.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Ensure data is collected timely and efficiently, in line with internal and external requirements (supply chain mapping, due diligence processes and EUDR regulation, DueD)

  • Ensure quality data related record keeping including file and version management, and master data sets and related documents.

  • Design, implement and manage all the different databases necessaries for daily operations from Production up to Export.

  • Ensure data collection, data quality and data analysis processes and protocols are in place.

  • Produce reports for the Production, Logistic and Trade teams, providing insights for continuous improvement.


Profil recherché

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain management, quality and food safety, computer science or a related field)

Proven experience in traceability systems implementation, preferably in the coffee or agriculture industry

Proven experience in advance Excel management

Skills :

Proficiency in Excel or a programming language (R / Python / etc..)

Ability to perform basic statistical calculations.

Excellent data management and data analysis skills, with solid skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and statistical packages.

Strong knowledge of coffee supply chain dynamics, from farming to processing.

Familiarity with traceability technologies, data management systems, and industry best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices in the coffee industry is a plus.

Quality and food safety policies knowledge is a plus.

Bilingual English.
