The Compliance Officer will work closely with the Touton Cameroun Director to support certification, traceability, and EUDR (European Union Deforestation Regulation) requirement documentation. This role involves on-the-ground training and support for suppliers and farmer groups, ensuring compliance with EUDR and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Support and train suppliers and farmer groups to comply with EUDR and sustainability standards such as Rainforest Alliance (RA).

·         Ensure traceability procedures and grievance mechanisms are implemented with Touton’s suppliers.

·         Receive, verify, and manage traceability information provided by suppliers.

·         Regularly control and verify that all requirements are in place with suppliers.

·         Plan and coordinate necessary support for suppliers to achieve EUDR compliance and sustainability standards.

·         Support the development and revision of training materials.

·         Support and coordinate mapping of farms with suppliers.


Profil recherché

High school diploma or equivalent in a scientific or agricultural field. Additional training in certification standards is highly desirable

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in implementing certification standards.

Knowledge of sustainability standards such as Rainforest Alliance (RA) and Fair Trade (FT).

Understanding of the cocoa supply chain.

Proficiency in Excel and Geographic Information System (GIS) formats.

Good knowledge of traceability procedures for products.
