🎯 OBJECTIVE: Empower our clients by delivering impactful Dataviz projects with Toucan’s software.

As a Dataviz Consultant within our Product Specialists team, your deep expertise in our software and passion for client success will drive the delivery of high-quality projects for our clients.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Gain an in-depth understanding of all features, capabilities, and updates of our software. Your goal is to become the go-to expert for both clients and colleagues

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their data visualization needs, objectives, and the specific business questions they seek to answer through data

• Design and implement comprehensive data visualizations using our software

• Work with clients to integrate their data sources with our software. Advise on automating data refresh and update processes to ensure that their data visualizations remain accurate and up-to-date

• Deliver advanced and technical training sessions to client teams, empowering them to master our software

• Collaborate with other teams within Toucan, including Product Development, Customer Success, and Sales, to provide feedback from clients and influence our roadmap

• Act as a champion for our software, advocating its benefits to clients and demonstrating how it can solve their specific business challenges through effective data visualizations

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, improving project delivery quality and efficiency through best practices and lessons learned

• Bring innovation by staying at the forefront of data visualization trends, technologies, and best practices

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Data Visualization Tools: Demonstrated experience with Toucan or a Business Intelligence tool (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, Excel, etc.). Ability to design and implement insightful data visualizations

• Data Handling: Experience working with large datasets and a solid understanding of data preprocessing, cleaning, and integration techniques. Familiarity with SQL or Python for data manipulation is a plus

• Modern Data Stack: Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, etc.), ETL tools, and an understanding of data integration processes and automation.

• Web Technologies: Basic understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus

SOFT SKILLS

• Communication & Pedagogy: Ability to articulate complex data concepts in a clear and engaging manner to non-technical stakeholders. Strong presentation skills are essential

• Customer-Oriented: A deep commitment to understanding and meeting client needs, with a track record of building strong client relationships and delivering client-centric solutions

• Problem-Solving: Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving issues

• Adaptability & Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Eager to learn new technologies and methodologies and apply them innovatively in projects

• Collaboration & Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, contributing to a collaborative work environment and sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous consulting experience or experience in a client-facing role within the tech or data industries is highly valued

• Fluency in French is required
