We are actively looking to incorporate one intern or apprentice to be part of the Pre-clinical Team at TISSIUM. This person will be responsible to manage key studies related to the pre-clinical development and verification/validation of TISSIUM’s products. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the biological evaluation of TISSIUM’s products per ISO 10993-1.
• Plan, monitor and analyze data related to various biological evaluation activities, in particular In vivo performance studies.
• Conduct laboratory experimental work including, but not limited to, preparation of samples, handling and analysis of biological tissues.
• Plan and follow subcontracted activities.
• Contribute to the documentation required for developing medical device products.
• Follow safety practices and procedures.

JOB ENVIRONMENT/INTERACTIONS

• Work closely with TISSIUM’s other departments to understand the product development process.
• Present results in team meetings.
• Work closely with external experts.
• Follow medical device regulations (e.g. ISO 13485, ISO 10993).

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• M2 or last year Engineering school in chemistry or bio-related fields.
• Experienced with study conduction, data management and presentation.
• Experience with in vivo study is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
