What you will do 

You will join the Talent Acquisition team, which means recruitment but sounds better. You will be responsible for supporting hiring managers in the all departments regarding building strategies in integrating junior talented Foodies in the team (Internships, VIE, Apprenticeship, etc):

  • You will focus on sourcing multilingual and junior talents primarily in all our locations around the world (12 countries);
  • You will be handling the end-to-end junior recruitment processes, as primary point of contact for candidates;
  • You manage and advise demanding stakeholders with high expectations throughout the whole recruitment process (define priorities, collaborate on recruiting strategy, streamline our evaluation process, and improve our ability to attract top junior talent);
  • You will work closely with Business Leaders, HR Partners, Recruiters to create a plan to target specific Universities including getting senior level commitment for time, resources and focus:
  • You will collaborate with our Employer Branding team to develop innovative and creative ways to attract the best and brightest diverse candidates and increase TheFork brand awareness;
  • You will coordinate all events at assigned universities ensuring timeliness and consistency while partnering with Recruiting Coordinators and Business Managers;
  • You will develop relationships with Universities and Professors to assist in overall insight and activities at each school;
  • You will attend events/functions;
  • You work closely with your awesome colleagues in the team to give support and to make sure we are successful overall; 
  • You will regularly over-communicate information such as junior candidate pipelines, recruiting funnel metrics, and performance data to hiring managers and HR Business Partners.

 

Who you are 
  • Coming with a first successful experience gained internationally (preferably in the recruitment or in the Tech industry) - Min 6 months of first working experience (inc internships)
  • Graduated from a Master Degree (in Business, Administration, Economics, etc)
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French and/or Italian would be a strong plus
  • Enthusiastic about early talent recruitment and our Food Tech industry
  • Passionate about international business, eager to learn about cultures & market specificities 
  • Strong Relationship Building Skills, excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • High energy, friendly and sociable. A bit because this is usually the kind of staff the candidates want to meet, a lot because this is the type of people we enjoy working with :)

What is a VIE?

The International Internship in a Company allows you to undertake a secure professional assignment abroad of 6 to 24 months. You are protected by the French Embassy and supported by Business France throughout your V.I.E assignment. As a result, it provides you, your family and your employer with reassurance too !

International training, the chance to get to know new cultures, guaranteed job opportunities … But where there are rights there are also duties! You must respect the context in which you find yourself, first and foremost to protect yourself. 

 

Conditions to undertake a VIE  

To become an International Intern in a Company, you must fulfil the following conditions :

- Be aged at least 18 but not yet 29 : you must be 28 when you start your assignment, bearing in mind that a V.I.E contract always starts on the 1st of the month.

- Be French or a European citizen. 

- Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country(ies) (defence ID n°).

- Have a clean criminal record.

- Be able to devote yourself full time to your assignment : no part-time work, entrepreneurship, studies or paid activity at the same time as your V.I.E.

- Accept the letter of appointment that you sign with Business France which sets out your rights and your duties during your assignment.
