Job description
Who we are
The Sandbox is building a decentralized metaverse, empowering creators and players to come together and build the world they’ve always wanted. It is our mission to build an inclusive and open metaverse. Building the bridge between blockchain, social experiences, and gaming. Creating long-lasting relationships through the power of community, creativity, and NFTs.
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to provide operational HR leadership, direction and expertise to our French offices (Paris, Lille and Lyon). This position will report directly to our Chief Business Officer and will have a direct impact on all people related matters.
What you’ll be doing:
Inform, guide and coach The Sandbox employees based in France on all HR initiatives and reglementations
Manage and process payroll and benefit programs
Generate employment contracts and onboard new employees
Manage employee performance reviews and professional development
Handle contract discontinuation and the offboarding process
Ensures the company is compliant with French social legislation
Manage the HR budget and headcount projections
Implement and organize the employee representative election process (end of 2023) and manage, alongside with the General Manager, the Social and Economic Committee (CSE)
Implement and orchestrate an internal mobility strategy and training to promote growth and development
Preferred experience
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience as an HR Manager
Strong knowledge of French HR laws and regulations and best practices
People oriented with great communication skills
A liking for both strategy and execution
An entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to work both independently and with a team
A native French speaker and strong written and spoken English skills
