The Video Network Product Management team is looking for an experienced Product Manager to support the growth of its Content Delivery solutions, part of the Direct-to-Consumer portfolio.

Content Delivery solutions addresses Media and Entertainment challenges in the delivery at scale of content while ensuring high quality of service and advanced consumer experiences. This software solution is available worldwide and is leveraging the latest technologies: AI for traffic prediction, Cloud for elasticity and 5G for mobile delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience with the latest software technologies, is passionate about all aspects of product management and business planning, comfortable with engaging directly with customers, can represent Synamedia’s content delivery solutions across the industry and strives to evolves the portfolio to grow the business. You will work closely together with the other Video Network product managers and solution architects in the team. The edge solution architect will be an important partner for bringing in thought leadership solutions to fight piracy, support edge processing for 5G and targeted advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the product process from concept to launch to ongoing maintenance, including gathering and defining product requirements, setting priorities, overseeing development planning and product releases, and guiding ongoing product support and maintenance.

  • Help define a comprehensive product roadmap and ensure the product meets customer and market needs and is delivered on time.

  • Coordinate product development activity with R&D, continuously prioritising features and schedules to match defined market and customer needs and ensuring alignment on requirements and delivery.

  • Perform market analysis, cost & pricing analysis, and product forecasting

  • Collaborate with field sales, marketing organizations and Synamedia partners to ensure effective alignment around market focus and strategy. Provide a channel for bi-directional feedback, and ensure the overall success and growth of the edge product portfolio

  • Support sales and marketing efforts as required. Travel on a regular base will be required


Profil recherché

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field.

  • A minimum of 5 years product management experience, or previous experience in pre-sales engineering, product ownership, and/or solutions marketing.

  • Exceptional business and technical judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions.

  • Strong understanding of media industry trends, technologies, challenges and consumer interests and preferences, especially in web/OTT, telco, cable and broadcast solutions.

  • Experience working with customers and partners, presenting, and communicating complex ideas to a wide range of audiences.

  • Ability to operate in an international structure over many time zones and geographies, and especially able to work in alignment with UK/European and US time zones.


Déroulement des entretiens

  • Screening call (20-30mn) to discuss the position and understand your aspirations

  • Technical interview with the developement team and the Hiring Manager,

  • Interview with the N+2 / R&D Director

  • Presentation of the offer by HR
