In this role, you will:

• Support the month-end accounting closing process (monthly accruals and provisions, fixed assets depreciation, prepaid expenses),
• Prepare the monthly VAT declaration,
• Support the internal and external audit process,
• Ensure follow-up on regulators’ feedback with regard to corrections to make, and coordinate with external IT Company Invoke for fixes/updates on the system module,
• Manage the maintenance and development of all regulatory documentation,
• Support the data quality process by ensuring control and performing regular spot checks,
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management information packs for Head of Finance,
• Prepare figures for budget,
• Regulatory watch in relation to new regulations affecting the Bank’s accounting/reporting/tax environment,
• Coordinate closely with other functions including IT, operations, risk, compliance and customer service on various financial matters and projects,
• Help team members with regulatory reporting related tasks, 
• Back up of the Treasurer Assets Liabilities Manager.

You have:

• Experience in working on Finance and Accounting division for at least 3 years,
• Fluency in English - Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) – French would be considered an asset,
• Knowledge in banking industry and banking regulatory environment especially regulatory rules concerning general prudential requirements (CRR, CRDV) accounting treatments (IFRS, LuxGaap) including understanding the content of regulators’ circulars,
• Understanding of audit requirements and tax regulations,
• Solid knowledge of SQL, PlexusFAS and Core banking system T24 would be considered an asset,
• Experience preparing and presenting facts and figures to senior management,
• Knowledge of EU regulations 680/2014, 575/2013 and 2016/867 such as templates FINREP, SOLVENCY, LAREX, LCR, NSFR, LEVERAGE, ALMM and ANACREDIT) is considered as a strong asset,
• Highly organised and accurate and ability to meet deadlines.
