Your mission
Support our growth with a 100% focus on inbound event sales.
Your role
You will report to the Sales Director. You will acquire new customers, focusing on securing sales for one-off events to series of events. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sales, a strong interest in event technology, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- New customer acquisition: Respond to inbound meeting requests and inquiries from potential new customers and immediately secure a meeting if initial fit is established.
- Customer qualification: Conduct discovery calls to further qualify customers, understanding their objectives, budget, and timelines to ensure a perfect alignment with SpotMe's offerings.
- Solution scoping: Expertly scope out SpotMe Anywhere solutions, including event registration, event app, and virtual event platforms, along with our services such as event builds, production services, and onsite logistics and support.
- Technical demonstrations: Perform engaging technical demonstrations of the SpotMe platform and services, showcasing how our solutions can address the customer needs.
- Sales closure: Employ effective sales and negotiation strategies to close deals.
- Customer management: Manage the newly acquired customers through their initial events, providing exceptional support and ensuring their success with SpotMe's solutions and services team.
- Account transition: Seamlessly hand over mature accounts to Account Managers for ongoing management and growth, ensuring a continuous and positive customer experience.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with customers.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- 2+ years of experience in event technology in project management, customer service or support
- No previous sales experience required; however, a keen interest in developing sales skills and knowledge is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced industry.
