About the Job
Spendesk is looking for a passionate Senior Product Designer who has a holistic approach to solving design problems. In this role, you’ll have ownership of our design system (called “Grapes”) and will chart a path for how it grows and evolves.
You can identify problems and opportunities, and frame them in a way that guides your squad to deliver impactful work. You effectively collaborate cross-functionally to develop a vision and drive projects to completion. You’re motivated by goals and outcomes, staying focused on the big picture while giving care to the details when necessary. You iterate quickly and utilize data and user research to ensure you’re on the right path towards your goal. You help champion design thinking within your squad, the design team, and the broader Product organization. You work humbly and kindly, aren’t afraid to make mistakes, admit failure, and learn from it. You’re always looking to improve yourself and to lift up others around you.
The Client Capabilities team’s mission is to ensure a best-in-class user experience across all of Spendesk by focusing on transversal initiatives. As the Senior Designer on this team, you’ll drive the roadmap of Grapes (our design system), and you’ll craft experiences that are too broad for any single squad (think: navigation, empty states, etc).
