The Trade Service team in GTPS Vienna is promoting, managing and developing Trade Finance solutions for SG corporate clients in close cooperation with the Coverage team based in Austria (CORI), the global Trade Finance network of the bank and other departments of the Bank.

The Head of TRA Austria is responsible for the origination and execution of high value Trade Finance transactions and the development of Trade Finance solutions.

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Organization of client meetings and preparation of such (collect client information, relationship data etc.)
• Prepare client pitches: Support collection of transaction documents and approvals respective approvals (term sheet if any, legal documentation, security documents, internal approvals etc.)
• Preparation of client proposals
• Accommodate the client onboarding process (preparation of initial documents, support in negotiation as to pricing conditions, answer to process related inquiries)
• Initiation of Credit Requests for new Limits including preparation of credit applications and follow up with Credit Analyst Teams, Amendment / Renewal of Credit Limits, Monitoring of Credit Limit Validity, Provide information about exposure and answer to other product related questions of internal teams.
• Preparing the Negotiation and Signing of Facility Agreements for trade instruments, Management of ESG/Sustainability linked Facilities, incl. Preparation of Pitch and associated tasks, Collect & Circulate Executed version of legal documentation.
• Supporting the Budget Process & Business Review of the desk
• Preparation of internal reporting (ESG related transactions, desk performance, HO inquiries etc.)
• Provide information on product related questions (Guarantees, Letters of Credit)
• Facilitate the KYC process (Business Questionnaires in the frame of Reviews, questions of KYC analyst teams)
• Answer to Balance Confirmation Requests in joint collaboration with other business lines in relationship with the client
• Insert essential information into internal tools

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master's degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance or Business Administration
• A previous experience in Banking/Trade Services would be appreciated

Language skills:
• Fluent in English
• Intermediate in German

Technical, operational & soft skills:
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Client oriented work approach

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Vienna is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24months.

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
